Insurance
At Phenix Counseling, we do not accept insurance due to the limitations imposed and the patient privacy concerns. We understand that for some of you this may be difficult; however, we feel this allows us to offer the best care to our clients.
If you have a policy that offers coverage for out of network services, we are happy to provide a superbill receipt which you can submit for possible reimbursement.
At Phenix, we believe in providing exceptional care and will always put the best interests of our clients at the forefront.
Payment
We accept all major credit cards as forms of payment.
We accept HSA credit cards.
Our groups offer the option to utilize Afterpay to break up the payment for each 4 session module.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. (At Phenix, we can provide this after the free consult appointment is complete). If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services site.
